Welcome to the Photography Department website for Thomas Tallis School. A level photography is a thriving subject in the sixth form with consistently high results and a growing cohort of talented students. We are just about to launch a new GCSE course. Photography is also taught as a unit in the Level 2 BTEC Media course.

We study the AQA Art & Design: Photography specification at A level. We attempt to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to think creatively and explore the many ways in which photography can re-present reality. All students keep both a physical and virtual Creative Diary and we utilise a range of web 2.0 tools to share our understanding of photography with learners across the world. The course blog is frequently updated with the latest resources and provides a great platform to showcase students' work.

Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about photography at Thomas Tallis School.
